Is the procedure painful ?

We use anesthetic creams to greatly reduce the sensation which minimizes the discomfort of the procedure.

How long does the procedure take?

Lip lines or eyebrows take approximately 1 hour. Full lips or eye liner take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. This time is divided between 30 minutes for line design and color choice, and 30 minutes for execution.
In just 30 minutes you will look great and feel great 24 hours a day!

How long will the permanent make-up last?

Depending on your skin type, eye liner and full lips usually last approximately 2 years. Lip lines and eyebrows usually last approximately 3 years.

Is the procedure safe?

Absolutely! Mrs. Bilardello is a certified professional whose experience ensures proper application under proper conditions using current methods and equipment to meet each client's specific needs.

After the session, will the treated areas be painful? Will I be ‘presentable'?

Painful? Not at all.
Presentable? Absolutely. For some people, the eyeliner pigmentation may initially cause slight irritation or swelling at the corner of the eye. This is easy to camouflage with a little make-up.

What is the appearance of the dermapigmentation when it begins to fade?

The color will face very gradually in a uniform manner until it eventually disappears.

Is there any specific after session care?

No. You may continue using your usual facial cream. If exposed to the sun, protect your dermapigmentation for the first 2 weeks by applying a fine coat of sun block.

Why do some experience an orangey or bluish tinge to their eyebrows?

Depending on the initial color chosen, pigmentation in certain shades of brown has a tendency to turn slightly orange when it lightens. This problem has been addressed through research, and new pigments in ash shades have reduced this problem considerably. Bluish shades result from black pigments and this color can only be used for eyeliner applications. Dark brown is the darkest color than will be used on eyebrows. Previous permanent make-up applications can be touched up, corrected and even perfected. Colors can be changed and even your orangey eyebrows will ‘find their natural appearance'.
